Nail Striping Tape It may sound ridiculous, but nail striping tape is pretty important for creating the perfect and neat designs you want. You’ll have seen the nail designs with clean stripes and straight lines, and you may have even attempted to do them yourselves only to get wobbly, uneven lines or stripes. In order to get those perfectly straight lines and stripes then you’ll want to get some striping tape. Not only straight lines and stripes but you can use it for art deco type designs, colour blocking, and loads of other different ideas. Either use it on its own or combine it with other nail accessories and tools to create unique and creative designs. It’s a very straight forward item to use – just cut the tape into the shape and size you want, paste or attach it to your nail or nails and then paint over it. Voila! You’re done. Striping Tape Tips Make sure you have cut your tape into the desired shape before you paint your nails. Attempting to do so with wet nails will be a nightmare, resulting in smudged or ruined nails before you’ve even got to use the tape! Wait for your base polish coat to be completely dry before using your tape. Make sure that the tape is pressed against the nail firmly so it doesn’t lift and mess up what you’re trying to achieve. When you come to remove the tape try to use tweezers as it can sometimes be tricky with just your own hands and that can then result in ruining your nails. Tweezers will be far less messy and more accurate.
